Unlike energy futures, the currencies are wonderfully trending markets. A long term trend in energy futures is three months. Currencies trend for years. However it is easy to forget this trending nature of currencies is we focus exclusively on the near term. Hence this year end refresh of the longer term trends is the major DX Index currencies.
